Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forest Fire Specialist Supervisor to lead our team of forest fire specialists. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing fire prevention strategies, managing fire risks, and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate firefighting efforts during incidents, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
• Lead training sessions for staff on fire safety and emergency protocols.
• Assess and improve firefighting equipment and resource allocation.
• Engage in community outreach to educate the public on fire prevention.
• Identify innovative techniques to enhance fire management strategies.
• Analyze post-incident data to improve future responses.
• Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
• Document and report on fire management performance and outcomes.
• Develop partnerships with local organizations for enhanced fire management.
• Advise on fire legislation and policy implications.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in fire management.

Certifications

• Incident Command System (ICS) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
