Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Art Therapist to provide therapy services to clients facing physical, emotional, cognitive, and social challenges. If you're skilled in developing creative therapeutic frameworks, join our dedicated team.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and analyze client progress towards therapy goals.
  • Design engaging activities that promote healing and self-expression.
  • Document therapy sessions and prepare reports for interdisciplinary meetings.
  • Support clients in coping with emotional and psychological issues through art.
  • Foster a safe and supportive therapeutic environment for clients.
  • Contribute to a culture of empathy, respect, and understanding within the team.
  • Engage in community outreach to promote art therapy.
  • Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Stay updated with current trends in art therapy and rehabilitation.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to junior therapists or interns.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Creative Arts or Human Services
  • Master's degree in Rehabilitation Therapy is an advantage
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience working with clients in a therapeutic setting.
