Job Description

As a Medical Secretary and Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our healthcare facility. Your responsibilities will include managing patient appointments, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct preliminary patient assessments and gather necessary information.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the office area.
  • Assist in coordinating patient follow-up appointments.
  • Prepare and dispatch patient correspondence.
  • Provide assistance with medical billing and coding.
  • Keep track of office supplies and reorder as necessary.
  • Support case management and patient advocacy efforts.
  • Assist in managing conflicts and resolving patient issues.
  • Participate in quality assurance and compliance audits.
  • Provide general administrative support to the healthcare team.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Higher Certificate in Medical Administration is preferred
Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in a medical or clinical setting.
