Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Hotel Manager to lead our dedicated team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in hotel management, ensuring the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction are met. You will oversee daily operations, manage personnel, and drive revenue while promoting a welcoming environment for guests.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise overall hotel operations, ensuring high-quality service.
  • Recruit, train, and develop hotel personnel.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with guests, addressing concerns and suggestions.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance hotel branding.
  • Monitor feedback from guests to improve service quality.
  • Conduct inspections of hotel facilities and grounds.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and health standards.
  • Lead initiatives for sustainability and community engagement.
  • Prepare detailed reports for upper management regarding hotel operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration is preferred
  • Master's degree in Hospitality Management is a plus
Experience
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in a senior hotel management position
