We are on the lookout for a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. This role involves implementing security measures to protect sensitive data and enhance the overall security posture of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of security protocols and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain firewalls, encryption, and other security measures.
• Conduct regular security awareness training for staff.
• Assess third-party vendors’ security practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security.
• Document security incidents and remediation efforts.
• Research and implement new technologies to enhance security posture.
• Advise on security technology upgrades and enhancements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role

• Firewall Configuration

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

Languages

• English: Fluent
