Job Description

We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our dedicated team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for examining financial data, preparing reports, and making recommendations for improvement. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed financial models and forecasts to reflect potential financial outcomes.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of revenue streams and expenses.
• Make recommendations based on financial analysis to enhance profitability.
• Engage in cross-departmental projects to improve overall financial performance.
• Monitor financial metrics and performance indicators.
• Provide training and support for junior analysts when required.
• Assist with financial audits and compliance reviews.
• Stay updated on industry trends that may affect financial performance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Master's degree in Business Administration preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of financial analysis experience in a corporate environment

Technical Skills

• Advanced Excel
• Financial Software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)

Certifications

• CFA Level 1
• CMA

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
