Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our Port Elizabeth team. The successful candidate will manage various civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This role requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Research and implement innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals and bids for new projects.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
• Assess existing structures and recommend upgrades or repairs.
• Participate in community outreach and presentations regarding projects.
• Ensure that all engineering work complies with applicable standards and regulations.
• Facilitate site visits and inspections during construction phases.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field
• Relevant certifications are an asset

Experience

• 3+ years' of experience in civil engineering projects
