Quality Assurance Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our manufacturing team in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and compliance regulations. You will examine materials, processes, and products to ensure they are defect-free and meet specifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections and quality assessments in the manufacturing process.
• Utilize various measurement tools and techniques for quality evaluation.
• Communicate findings to management and suggest areas for improvement.
• Keep up-to-date with industry standards and regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department.
• Ensure all quality equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly.

Requirements

Education

• Matriculation with strong grades in Maths and Science
• Degree in Engineering or Quality Management is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in the manufacturing sector

Technical Skills

• Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Root Cause Analysis

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
• Lean Manufacturing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Exposure to international quality standards: Understanding of global quality standards such as ISO and QS.
• Experience with quality management systems: Hands-on experience with systems like SAP and QMS tools.
