Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Specialist in our Johannesburg office, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our software products. Your role will involve testing, analyzing results, and collaborating closely with developers to fix issues and improve usability.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain test documentation including traceability and test execution.
• Identify, analyze, and document defects, and work with development teams for resolution.
• Conduct performance testing and security testing as part of the testing process.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in the testing process.
• Stay updated with emerging testing tools and methodologies.
• Improve test processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in QA roles

Technical Skills

• API Testing
• Performance Testing

Certifications

• Agile Testing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Agile methodology: Knowledge of Agile practices and frameworks to enhance QA processes.
