We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate should be passionate about patient care and possess comprehensive medical knowledge to provide excellent diagnostic and treatment services. Your responsibilities will include managing overall patient health, prescribing medications, and collaborating closely with specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse patient caseload with varying health conditions.
• Perform routine diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Advise patients on lifestyle modifications for improved health.
• Ensure compliance with medical protocols and standards.
• Engage with patients through compassionate communication.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior medical staff.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to healthcare strategies.
• Research and implement best practices in patient care.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualification in Family Medicine is an advantage

Experience

• At least 3 years experience in a clinical setting

• Clinical assessment skills

Certifications

• HPCSA registration
• Advanced Life Support Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• isiXhosa: Conversational
