Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Clinical Research Associate to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. This role is pivotal in the management and monitoring of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for patient recruitment, data collection, and liaising with study stakeholders to facilitate successful study execution.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor daily trial operations.
  • Assist in preparing study-related documents and reports.
  • Manage participant interviews and follow-ups.
  • Collect feedback from trial participants to enhance study quality.
  • Conduct site inspections and regulatory compliance checks.
  • Facilitate communication between study site staff and project team.
  • Evaluate site performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry into clinical databases.
  • Provide updates on recruitment and retention metrics.
  • Support the planning and execution of trial close-out activities.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline
  • Clinical Research or similar qualification preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in clinical monitoring or trials
