Site Construction Supervisor

Job Description

As a Site Construction Supervisor, you will oversee various construction projects in Cape Town, ensuring all on-site operations are efficient and adhere to safety regulations. You will coordinate between different teams, manage schedules, and maintain high standards of quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that safety protocols are followed by all workers on-site.
• Facilitate the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for construction.
• Liaise with the Project Manager to report on project progress and budgetary concerns.
• Train and mentor junior staff and new workers to ensure a competent workforce.
• Assist in the development of project timelines and budgets.
• Implement quality control procedures to ensure standards are met throughout the project.
• Address and resolve any conflict that arises during projects.
• Promote a positive team culture focused on safety and collaboration.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in construction supervision
