Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Environmental Scientist to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in conducting research and assessments related to environmental impact. You will work closely with project managers to evaluate and mitigate environmental risks associated with various projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support during project implementation related to environmental management.
• Conduct training sessions for staff and partners on environmental protocols.
• Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing environmental performance.
• Support research projects relevant to environmental conservation.
• Evaluate project performance and suggest improvements for future projects.
• Write articles and reports summarizing research findings.
• Act as a liaison between the organization and community stakeholders.
• Participate in conferences and workshops to share best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Management is a plus
