Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Non-Profit Program Manager to oversee our community initiatives in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management within the non-profit sector, with skills in fundraising, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation of community programs, ensuring best practices are maintained.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and manage financial resources effectively.
  • Conduct regular assessments to evaluate program effectiveness and report findings.
  • Collaborate with local entities to leverage resources and enhance program visibility.
  • Engage with community leaders to promote inclusivity in program participation.
  • Organise training sessions to build capacity among program staff and volunteers.
  • Manage stakeholder communications and ensure timely reporting on program progress.
  • Lead the planning and execution of fundraising activities and events.
  • Create strategic partnerships to fortify program initiatives and community engagement.
  • Adapt program strategies based on evaluation results and community feedback.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Community Development or equivalent
  • Master's degree is an advantage

  • 5 years of relevant experience in managing community programs or initiatives
