Job Description

We are in search of a dedicated Volunteer Coordinator to lead our volunteer programs in Johannesburg. This role involves managing volunteer recruitment, training, and engagement to support various community initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead volunteer meetings and facilitate team-building activities.
• Monitor and report on volunteer engagement metrics.
• Develop volunteer appreciation programs to encourage retention.
• Assist in fundraising efforts by engaging volunteers in campaigns.
• Implement strategies to address any volunteer challenges that arise.
• Keep up-to-date with best practices in volunteer management.
• Promote a positive organizational culture among volunteers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Community Development or related field
• Master's degree in Management is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in non-profit or community-based organizations

Certifications

Languages
