Job Description

We seek a qualified Pharmacist to join our team in Cape Town, committed to delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care. Your role will involve dispensing medication, providing patient consultations, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the pharmacy's operational processes and workflows.
  • Evaluate new medications for inclusion in the formulary.
  • Provide guidance to patients regarding over-the-counter medications.
  • Assist in ensuring quality control and safety in medication dispensing.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies for medication coverage.
  • Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy.
  • Monitor and report adverse drug reactions and medication errors.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Post-graduate studies in clinical pharmacy
Experience
  • 3+ years in a pharmacy setting, ideally in a clinical role
