Pharmacist

Job Description

As a Pharmacist with us, you will engage in clinical decisions, oversee medication dispensing, and counsel patients on drug safety and efficacy. If you are passionate about improving lives through pharmaceutical care, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Oversee pharmacy staff and delegate tasks as needed.
• Provide training and support to new pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
• Engage in clinical services such as immunizations and health screenings.
• Investigate and resolve medication-related issues and discrepancies.
• Participate in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in community or hospital pharmacy

Technical Skills

• Clinical Pharmacy
• Regulatory Compliance

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Customer Service

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Health Systems: Experience working with various health systems is beneficial.
• Leadership Experience: Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role is advantageous.
