Job Description

We are seeking a talented Architect to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in residential architectural design, along with a creative mindset and attention to detail. You'll be involved in all phases of project development, from concept design through to construction documentation, ensuring that each project reflects the client’s vision while adhering to local regulations and sustainability principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop residential buildings that meet client specifications and local building codes.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and project documents for construction.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and various stakeholders during all project phases.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Present designs to clients for approval and make necessary adjustments based on feedback.
• Research and apply sustainable building practices and materials.
• Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure successful outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Master's degree in Urban Planning or related field is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in design and construction of residential projects

• Building Codes Knowledge
• Project Management Software

Certifications

• SACAP Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent
