Responsibilities

• Provide legal opinions and reports on various matters.
• Manage relationships with external law firms as needed.
• Ensure proper documentation and records management for legal matters.
• Advise on data protection and privacy laws.
• Assist in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
• Build and maintain a strong understanding of the legal issues facing the company.

Requirements

Education

• LLB or JD degree
• Postgraduate qualification in Law is advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of legal experience, preferably in corporate law

Technical Skills

• Litigation

• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• Certified Compliance Officer

Languages

• English: Fluent
• isiZulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Proficiency in Legal Research Tools: Experience with legal research databases and tools for efficient case analysis.
