Job Description

We are looking for a Healthcare Administrator in Johannesburg who will be responsible for the smooth operation of our healthcare facility. Your role will include managing staff schedules, maintaining patient records, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations to provide an optimal environment for patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily administrative functions and maintain a positive workplace environment.
  • Supervise the maintenance of medical records and ensure confidentiality.
  • Facilitate communication between departments to promote effective patient care.
  • Monitor financial performance, assisting with budget planning.
  • Ensure all staff comply with healthcare laws and regulations.
  • Develop operational reports for upper management.
  • Coordinate billing and insurance processes with relevant stakeholders.
  • Organize office activities and events to promote team cohesion.
  • Implement strategies for improving administrative workflows.
  • Manage the procurement of office supplies and medical equipment.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
  • Master's degree preferred

  • 3+ years of administrative experience within a healthcare setting
