Responsibilities

• Assess and manage acute and chronic health conditions.
• Educate patients about their diagnosis and treatment options.
• Collaborate with specialists as necessary for comprehensive care.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately.
• Promote health awareness and disease prevention.
• Manage follow-up care and monitor patient progress.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent
• Additional qualifications in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine are an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a general practice

• Patient management
• Health assessment

Certifications

• HPCSA Registration
• Certificate in Advanced Life Support (ALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in telemedicine: Ability to provide remote consultations and care.
• Bilingual skills preferred: Fluency in an additional language is an asset.
