UI Designer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a creative UI Designer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing engaging user interfaces and shaping the overall user experience. You will work closely with our UX team and developers to ensure the designs are not only visually stunning but also functional. Responsibilities

• Create and maintain design systems and style guides.
• Utilize design tools like Figma to create high-fidelity mockups.
• Outline user journey maps to visualize product flows.
• Conduct design workshops with stakeholders to clarify project goals.
• Review designs with the development team to solve implementation challenges.
• Produce compelling presentations to convey design rationale.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in User Interface Design or equivalent
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of UI design experience

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• Prototyping Tools

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Team Player

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of JavaScript: Ability to communicate with developers more effectively.
