Probation Officer

Job Description

As a Probation Officer, you will play a crucial role in supervising individuals on probation, helping them navigate their challenges and achieve their rehabilitation goals. You will assess needs, develop treatment plans, and liaise with community resources to provide necessary support.

Responsibilities

• Create and update treatment plans based on individual assessments.
• Track the progress of probationers, adjusting plans as necessary.
• Engage with families to support probationers' reintegration.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation when required.
• Implement programs aimed at reducing recidivism.
• Educate probationers about legal rights and responsibilities.
• Network with stakeholders to enhance community engagement.
• Facilitate workshops on life skills and personal development.
• Assist with court documentation and case preparation.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Social Work or related field is preferred

Experience

• Experience working with justice-involved populations preferred
