Job Description

Health Services Group is looking for a Healthcare Administrator who can lead our administrative efforts in Durban. You'll be responsible for the smooth operation of healthcare services and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Strong management skills and a thorough understanding of healthcare systems are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the administrative functions of healthcare services and ensure adherence to healthcare laws.
  • Develop strategies to improve the operational performance of the facility.
  • Serve as a liaison between healthcare professionals and administrative staff.
  • Manage the budget and perform financial analysis for operational planning.
  • Train and mentor staff on best practices in healthcare administration.
  • Facilitate patient satisfaction initiatives and resolve grievances.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and evaluate quality improvement initiatives.
  • Implement data management systems to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Report operational performance to upper management.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Management or Administration
  • Master's degree in Healthcare Management is an advantage

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations
