Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our Pretoria office. As a crucial part of our legal team, you will assist in various legal tasks, ensuring that documents are prepared accurately and deadlines are met. The ideal candidate should have a passion for the legal field and a commitment to supporting our clients effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Draft legal documents including affidavits and briefs.
  • Conduct background checks and gather evidence.
  • Assist in managing deadlines and court dates.
  • Provide clerical support to the legal team.
  • Coordinate meetings and prepare necessary materials.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Requirements

Education
  • National Diploma in Paralegal Studies or relevant field
  • Bachelor's degree in Law is advantageous

  • 2+ years of experience in a legal environment
