Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and be adept at utilizing financial data to drive strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate financial risk and develop strategies for mitigation.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop annual plans.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Utilize financial modeling techniques for forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
• Develop budgets and track performance against them.
• Assist in the transition to new accounting systems or processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• Master's degree in Business Administration is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of direct experience in financial analysis

Certifications

• CFA Level II or equivalent
• Professional Financial Certification is a plus
