Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our Cape Town team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving a variety of technical issues while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a diverse set of technical skills, including knowledge of network systems, operating systems, and software applications. You will work closely with our clients to ensure they achieve their goals with our products.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer support through effective communication.
  • Troubleshoot server and networking issues efficiently.
  • Implement solutions based on client feedback to improve service delivery.
  • Contribute to knowledge base articles and training materials.
  • Assist team members in technical training as required.
  • Participate in system upgrades and rollouts.
  • Manage user accounts and access rights as per company policy.
  • Act as a point of contact for escalated technical issues.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • IT certifications in networking or support roles preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a help desk or technical support role
