Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to understand their vision and transform it into functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. You will be responsible for the entire design process, from conceptualization to execution, ensuring that each project aligns with the client's requirements and exceeds their expectations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their lifestyle and needs.
• Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders throughout the project.
• Document all design decisions and project details.
• Ensure designs comply with safety standards and regulations.
• Assist in sourcing and ordering furniture and decor items.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Interior Design
• Master's degree in Design is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience working within the interior design sector

Technical Skills

• 3D Modelling Software
• Budget Management

Soft Skills

• Project Management
• Negotiation

Certifications

• ASID Membership (American Society of Interior Designers)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Sesotho: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in Commercial Design Projects: Background in designing retail or office spaces is a plus.
• Familiarity with Building Codes and Regulations: Understanding compliance with local legislation.
