Supply Chain Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain processes in Pretoria. You will be responsible for developing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs while ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain.
• Drive the implementation of technology solutions to automate processes.
• Lead supply chain meetings to ensure alignment within the team.
• Analyze trends and variances to optimize logistics operations.
• Provide training to staff on supply chain best practices.
• Manage end-to-end supply chain logistics to maximize efficiency.
• Interface with finance to manage supply chain budgets effectively.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field
• Master's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is highly regarded

Experience

• 6+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain

Technical Skills

• Data Analysis
• Procurement

• Problem-solving
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of SAP software: Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Lean Manufacturing Practices: Experience in implementing lean practices in a supply chain context.
