Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will perform surgeries, conduct examinations, and advise pet owners on health care, ensuring high standards of animal welfare.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient health and diagnose medical conditions in animals.
• Carry out surgical and therapeutic procedures as required.
• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding treatment options and care plans.
• Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
• Engage in outreach programs to promote animal welfare in the community.

Requirements

Education

• DVM from an accredited veterinary school
• Certification in Veterinary Surgery is a plus

Experience

• Experience in a clinical environment preferred
