Job Description

As a Building Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and security of our facilities. Your duties will encompass everything from cleaning common areas to monitoring building access, ensuring a safe environment for tenants and guests alike.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the general upkeep of the building, ensuring all areas are clean and safe.
• Monitor the security systems and ensure all access points are secure.
• Attend to tenant requests and maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct inspections and report any issues to the Facilities Manager.
• Assist in managing cleaning schedules and staff.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Foster a positive relationship with tenants and visitors.
• Assist with coordinating vendor services when needed.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and supplies.
• Support the administrative staff when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in building maintenance or facilities management

Languages

• English: Fluent
