Job Description

As a Hogshead Hooper, you will play an integral role in the production of our craft beers. You will be responsible for overseeing the brewing process, maintaining quality control, and ensuring our products meet the highest standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the formulation and scaling of new recipes and brewing techniques.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Train new staff on brewing processes and equipment.
• Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting of brewing equipment.
• Engage in team brainstorming sessions to innovate new products.
• Assist in the management of production schedules and workload.
• Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering supplies.
• Participate in brewery tours and educate visitors about the brewing process.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Brewing Technology or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in brewing and production management

• Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
