Job Description

As a Cutting and Slicing Machine Setter, you will be responsible for accurately trimming materials according to specifications using specialized tools. This role is vital in ensuring product quality across automotive and upholstery sectors.

Responsibilities

• Set up cutting machines and tools for optimal operation.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Read and interpret production specifications and quality standards.
• Support the team in achieving production targets and quality assurance.
• Report any issues or defects to the supervisor immediately.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the production floor.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required, however, a high school diploma is preferred.

Experience

• Previous experience in a similar cutting or trimming role is advantageous.
