Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist for our Durban location. In this role, you will assess patient needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide hands-on care to aid in recovery. If you are passionate about helping others regain mobility, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Assess patients with musculoskeletal conditions to develop relevant intervention strategies.
• Utilise evidence-based practices to enhance patient recovery outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families about treatment plans.
• Participate in case discussions to brainstorm effective treatment interventions.
• Support interns and junior physiotherapists in their professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
• Registration with Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa (AHPCSA)

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years working experience in a clinical setting

Technical Skills

• Manual Therapy Techniques
• Rehabilitation Technologies

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Communication Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in sports rehabilitation: Experience working with athletes and sports injuries.
• Advanced life support certification: Certification in basic and advanced life support techniques.
