Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a variety of animal health conditions.
• Perform routine and emergency surgeries on pets.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding diagnosis and treatment.
• Participate in after-hours emergency vet services where required.
• Foster a safe and welcoming environment for animals and their owners.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in the clinic.
• Foster relationships with clients to encourage long-term care.
• Implement preventative healthcare plans for animals.
• Participate in workshops and mentorship programs.
• Advise on humane euthanasia when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
• Specialization in Surgery is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in veterinary settings.

Certifications

• Advanced Veterinary Surgical Techniques Certification
• Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Leadership experience: Experience in managing a veterinary team or training junior staff.
