Job Description

We are looking for a skilled General Practitioner to join our well-established team in Cape Town. This role involves patient consultations, examinations, and the interpretation of diagnostic tests. With a focus on patient care and teamwork, you will contribute significantly to our community’s health.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ health status and provide appropriate medical care.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Conduct routine check-ups and preventative care assessments.
• Engage in community outreach programs for health improvement.
• Ensure adherence to health regulations and safety standards.
• Mentor junior staff and assist in training.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent
• Specialization in Family Medicine or General Practice is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a GP setting

• Diagnostic Skills
• Emergency Care Management

• Adaptability
• Conflict Resolution

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Family Medicine Fellowship (if applicable)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Setswana: Basic
