The Pillar Man will be responsible for ensuring that the company's pillars are installed and maintained according to safety regulations and company policies. This role is crucial to the structural integrity of our construction projects.
Responsibilities
Install and maintain structural support beams and pillars at various sites.
Monitor and ensure adherence to safety protocols during installation.
Conduct risk assessments to prevent potential hazards.
Prepare site reports documenting installation processes and inspections.
Liaise with project managers to ensure project milestones are met.
Oversee the training of new hires on safety practices and installation techniques.
Ensure the proper use of construction safety equipment.
Contribute to planning of site layouts for optimal pillar placement.
Work collaboratively with contractors and subcontractors on site.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
Education
National Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Relevant certifications in construction management preferred
Experience
At least 3 years of experience in construction-related roles.
