We are looking for a proactive Industrial Engineer to bring innovative ideas to our team in Port Elizabeth. You will be responsible for streamlining manufacturing processes, conducting data analysis, and collaborating with various departments to emphasize continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assess and enhance production operations using engineering principles.
• Collaborate with product development teams to ensure manufacturability.
• Implement process designs that are cost-effective and high-quality.
• Prepare regular reports on performance and improvement outcomes.
• Conduct training programs for employee development in operational standards.
• Identify and solve technical problems related to machinery and processes.
• Work with IT departments to improve data collection methods.
• Assist in budgeting for engineering projects and operational costs.
• Develop workflows that promote safety and efficiency in all processes.
• Stay current with industry trends to incorporate best practices in engineering.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in a manufacturing or engineering environment, focusing on process improvements.
