Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our established team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing a variety of civil engineering projects. A strong understanding of structural dynamics, materials, and environmental regulations is essential. You will play an integral role in ensuring projects meet both safety standards and the expectations of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage civil infrastructure projects, focusing on quality and compliance.
• Conduct site analyses and prepare technical documentation.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
• Prepare and submit necessary applications and permits.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary.
• Engage in stakeholder consultations to gather requirements.
• Evaluate and recommend materials and methodologies for projects.
• Maintain records of engineering activities and project changes.
• Promote safety and environmental standards within the team.
• Support the development of junior engineering staff through training and guidance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or higher
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering

• Structural Analysis Software

Certifications

• Registered Engineer with ECSA
• Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)
