Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Tour Guide to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. As a Tour Guide, you will be responsible for leading groups through our various tourist attractions, sharing fascinating insights about South African culture, history, and wildlife. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and a passion for travel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire groups on memorable tours of Cape Town's attractions.
  • Engage guests with captivating stories about the region's history and culture.
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service throughout the tour experience.
  • Handle bookings and manage scheduling for tours.
  • Respond to guest questions and provide recommendations for local experiences.
  • Assist in developing new tour routes and experiences.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and report issues for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless tour operations.
  • Promote sustainable tourism practices throughout tours.
  • Attend training sessions for ongoing professional development.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Tourism or Hospitality Management
  • Other related qualifications will be considered
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in tour guiding or related field
