We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will work closely with veterinarians to provide exceptional care for animals, including administering medications, performing diagnostic tests, and assisting in surgeries. Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to sick or injured animals, including wound management.
• Perform routine procedures such as scaling teeth and clipping nails.
• Educate clients about preventative care and wellness programs.
• Assist in training new staff and interns in clinic procedures.
• Implement infection control protocols to maintain clinic hygiene.
• Facilitate communication between clients and veterinarians.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote animal welfare.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Veterinary Technology or Animal Health
• Certification as a Veterinary Technician is highly regarded

Experience

• Preferably 3+ years of experience in a veterinary environment
