Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Childcare Worker to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing children’s daily activities, promoting a safe and educational environment. You will work closely with children to help them develop social, emotional, and educational skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate play-based learning activities to promote skills development.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere for children and families.
• Monitor and record children's developmental milestones.
• Provide guidance to children in conflict resolution.
• Engage in open communication with parents and caregivers.
• Maintain accurate records of children's attendance.
• Promote diversity and inclusion in activities.

Advantageous

• Bilingual skills in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both languages is a significant advantage.
• Previous teaching experience: Any experience in teaching or tutoring children will be beneficial.
