Job Description

We are seeking an experienced NLP Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will work on cutting-edge AI projects, focusing on natural language processing. You will be tasked with developing algorithms to improve language understanding and facilitate human-computer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with machine learning engineers to deploy NLP models into production.
• Continuously monitor and improve the performance of NLP systems.
• Contribute to code reviews and team knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Assist in scaling NLP solutions for broader product usage.
• Develop prototypes for new NLP products and features.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in NLP and data science

Technical Skills

• Java
• PyTorch

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
