Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Roofer Applicator to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems including metal, shingle, and flat roofs. A keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality work are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support in planning and executing roofing projects from start to finish.
• Collaborate with suppliers for materials and equipment needed.
• Monitor inventory and material usage for efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections of roofs to identify issues and recommend solutions.
• Train and mentor junior team members as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in roofing

Technical Skills

• Roofing Installation
• Safety Compliance

Certifications

• Roofing Certification or equivalent experience
• Valid driver's license

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Commercial Roofing: Hands-on experience in large-scale commercial roofing projects.
• Skills in Estimating and Bidding: Ability to accurately estimate costs and prepare bids for roofing projects.
