Job Description

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will play a key role in managing our supply chain processes in Durban. This position calls for a strong leader who can drive efficiency, ensure compliance, and improve inventory turnover. You will work closely with various departments to facilitate seamless operations and enhance service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the supply chain and logistics team.
  • Department-wide communication regarding supply chain status and updates.
  • Identify risks in the supply chain and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams for effective promotions and launches.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all supply chain activities.
  • Advise on supply chain budget planning and capital expenditures.
  • Evaluate and improve supplier performance on a regular basis.
  • Lead projects to enhance supply chain sustainability and reduce environmental impact.
  • Provide training to staff on supply chain procedures and best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Management, or related field
  • MBA or equivalent is advantageous
Experience
  • Over 5 years in supply chain or logistics in a managerial role
