Job Description

We are looking for dedicated Crushing, Grinding, and Polishing Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders. As part of our team, you will play a key role in maintaining our construction equipment to ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise in operating machinery will be invaluable.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate crushing, grinding, and polishing machinery according to specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to meet operational standards.
• Record material amounts and machine hours to communicate effectively with supervisors.
• Implement safety protocols and conduct emergency drills.
• Assist in the training and onboarding of junior operators.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to resolve equipment-related challenges quickly.
• Keep work area clean and organized to promote a safe working environment.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate (Grade 12)
• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience in machine operation and maintenance

Languages

Advantageous

• Forklift operator certification: Certification in operating forklifts for material handling.
