Responsibilities

• Work closely with other engineering disciplines to achieve project goals.
• Analyze project feasibility and provide risk management solutions.
• Review and approve construction plans and specifications.
• Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure project excellence.
• Assist in project budgeting and timelines.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide training.
• Attend client meetings to discuss project progress and concerns.
• Utilize software to enhance structural analysis and design.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Honours degree in Structural Engineering is highly desirable

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural project design

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Earthquake-resistant design

Soft Skills

• Interpersonal skills
• Organizational skills

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer (CEng)
• LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with BIM technology: Experience with Building Information Modeling tools like Navisworks.
