Renewable Energy Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Renewable Energy Project Manager to oversee and coordinate renewable energy projects in South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of project delivery, ensuring successful completion within budget and timeline.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project objectives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new projects.
• Prepare and review project proposals and technical documentation.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Facilitate regular meetings with project teams and stakeholders to update on progress.
• Foster relationships with external partners and contractors.
• Utilize project management software to track progress and report on deliverables.
• Mentor junior project management staff to enhance team capabilities.
• Implement feedback mechanisms to capture lessons learned and improve future projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in renewable energy project management.
