We are seeking a skilled Actuary to become a key player in our Durban office. The successful candidate will excel in evaluating financial risks using mathematics, statistics, and financial theory. You will be tasked with analyzing the organization's overall insurance and financial strategies. A deep understanding of life and risk management products is essential.

Responsibilities

• Analyze statistical data to assess risk and compliance.
• Develop pricing and policy recommendations.
• Collaborate with underwriters and leadership to ensure sound decision-making.
• Prepare reports detailing findings and projections.
• Advise on product development and enhancements.
• Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and legal regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics
• Fellowship in the Actuarial Society is highly preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in actuarial analysis
