Job Description

We are seeking motivated General Maintenance Mechanics to perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment issues, ensuring operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Utilize diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot machinery issues.
• Document maintenance actions and issues in maintenance management software.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules with production teams.
• Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies during production.
• Contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Education

• NQF Level 4 in Mechanical Maintenance or related qualification

Experience

• 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Electrical Troubleshooting
• PLC Knowledge

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Systems: Familiarity with CMMS software for scheduling and tracking maintenance tasks.
• Additional Certification in Electrical Maintenance: Extra training or certificates related to electrical maintenance.
